Swimming at Green Lake is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend!

Green Lake Swim Area will open for swimming (weather permitting) Memorial Day Weekend for 2026. Beach hours for Memorial day weekend will be 12-5:30pm 5/23, 5/24 and 5/25.

From 6/3-6/28 beach hours are: Wed-Fri. 2:30-5:30pm, Sat-Sun 12-5:30pm.

From 7/1-8/14 beach hours are Wed.-Sun. 12-5:30pm.  8/14 will be the final day for the 2026 season.

***Please note that on 7/4 the beach will be closing at 4:30pm to prepare for the fireworks celebration that will using Green Lake Yates Park for the fireworks display.****

Splash Pad set to open Memorial Day Weekend

• Swimming is only open when lifeguards are on duty.

Boat Rentals: Available when lifeguards are on duty.

• boats are available to rent from the lifeguards when the beach is open and guards are on duty
• Cost: $10/1/2 hour
• boats include:  canoes, kayaks (single and tandem), stand up paddle boards, water bikes

You may launch you own boat with a boat permit

• call the office at 662-6450 to obtain your permit
