COVID-19 Safety Information

Camp Safety Information

 
  • Temperature of participants taken at drop off, anyone over 99 will not be able to stay at the program.
  • Participants who arrive and have a runny nose, cough or are sneezing will not be able to participate in the program that day.
  • Participants who develop symptoms during the day will need to be picked up by a parent or authorized adult within 20 min of Recreation Staff contacting parents.
  • Participants can return to the program once they are symptom free without being on any cold or flu medication.
  • Equipment is sanitized after each use
  • Social distancing will be used while at the program
  • Staff will wear masks at all times
  • Participants will wear masks while transitioning to different spots within the building, using restrooms or when social distancing is not an option.
  • For pickup parents will not be entering the building, they will call a designated program phone number when they arrive for pickup and our staff will walk their camper out to the car and check photo ID at that point for permission to pick up.

Swim Lessons Safety Information

  • No spectators are allowed
  • We will enter via the 20A entrance to the building
  • Upon entry everyone will have their temp taken. Anyone over 99° will not be able to stay
  • Participants will answer a series of yes/no COVID screening questions
  • Masks must be worn at all times while in the building; swimmers may remove masks upon entering the pool.
  • Staff will be wearing face shields while in the water teaching, masks will be worn on deck.
  • Once lifeguards are stationed in their lifeguard chair they are able to remove their mask while guarding.
  • Restrooms will be available for use, showers will be closed.
  • May not enter the building until 10 minutes prior to session.
  • Everyone is expected to use social distancing while at the pool.

Youth Programs

  • Temperature of participants taken at drop off, anyone over 99 will not be able to stay at the program
  • Equipment is sanitized after each use
  • Social distancing will be used while at the program
  • Staff will wear masks at all times
  • Participants are asked to wear masks when unable to use social distancing and transitioning to and from activities.
  • Parents are asked to stay on site in case their participant needs support that does not allow for social distancing.
  • One parent/ spectator per participant. Please do not bring siblings who are not enrolled in the program.

Preschool Programs

  • Temperature of participants taken at drop off, anyone over 99 will not be able to stay at the program 
  • Equipment is sanitized after each use for group items
  • Students will be issued their own personal class packs that will remain in preschool in their own cubby in between use.
  • Social distancing will be used while at the program
  • Staff will wear masks at all times
  • Participants are asked to wear masks when unable to use social distancing and transitioning to and from activities.
  • This year we are asking parents to keep kids home if they have any of the below symptoms: Running Nose, Cough, Fever, Upset Stomach.
  • If a child develops any of the above symptoms while at preschool we will be calling parents to come and pick their child up immediately.
  • Parents will drop off at the outside door, participants only inside the classroom.
