Swimming at Green Lake Beach is closed for the remainder of the 2025 season due to an Algae Bloom.
ECHD regulations require the swimming are to remain closed until all visible algae in the swim area and upstream of the swim area (boat launch area) are no longer present.
A sample was taken and processed by ECHD lab and the results came back negative for Microcystin.
No Swimming at Green Lake until further notice.
The boat launch will remain open, please use cation while boating and avoid algae patches
