Join our wonderful staff for this NYS Department of Health certified program. Each week campers will have 2 field trips per week, participate in sports, arts and crafts, swimming, tennis, boating and more!
This is our counselor in training camp. In addition to all the fun activities listed above, your camper will spend time learning what it takes to be a positive counselor by working with the younger age groups. Those who have an interest in teaching swim lessons will have an opportunity to shadow at the pool as well.
How does it work? Each day will be a mix of hands on learning, working with younger campers, and of course having time to enjoy being at camp! Each week the campers will have guided scheduled time to work with younger campers. While they are not working with younger campers, they will participate in fun camp activities like boating and going on field trips.
At Green Lake campers will also have more independence! For example, campers and staff as a group can decide to walk to a local restaurant for lunch, choose the sequence of their day, pick which activities they would like to have during their free time, etc.

- Where: Recreation Building at Green Lake/Yates Park
